Hi Fr. Steve,
So sorry to hear that you've not been well. Be assured of prayers. You don't know me (I don't think so anyway). I'm Bro. James Hayes, f.i.c., a De La Mennais Brother, Chaplain + teacher @ St. Francis Xavier's College ('SFX') in Woolton, S. Liverpool.
I'm also Brother responsible for vocations work for our congregation in England. I was wondering if there was any group/committee/officer for religious vocations in the Archdiocese, or at least an opportunity for religious responsible for vocations work to meet in some way. I note that your remit seems to be to focus on priestly vocations. Is there maybe someone else I could contact?
If you go to www.calledtoday.com (produced by the Nat. Office for Vocations), I'm "Brother Ben" (or at least it's my testimony that it used with that avatar).
I also have a blog (brojames.blogspot.com) + web site (www.brojames.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk) which serve to advertise my order in England and (the latter in particular) serve as a Chaplaincy tool.
God bless.
Bro. James
